Remembering Steve Medley, Yosemite Association

Something I posted on Facebook yesterday morning, October 5, 2026. 

Remembering the incredible Steve Medley.  We lost him in a traffic collision during this hour 20 years ago today, as he was heading to our Yosemite National Park Rotary Club meeting at The Ahwahnee, where he was our President at the time.  

This photo from Ray Santos was taken a few months earlier, on April 23, 2006, at our club’s annual wine tasting event at the wonderful Wawona Hotel.  Steve is doing what he did, making great conversation and getting others to laugh.  

He is still missed and remembered.
