Valentine’s Day 2026 included flowers, well, a drive through parts of Fresno’s Blossom Trail.
A beautiful day. Six cards between us, blossoms on the trees and snow capped mountains in the background.
No photos of dinner. Starter was an arugula beet salad. The main dish was pan fried sea bass with a brown butter sauce, accompanied by medium sized yellow potatoes with their skins on that were parboiled until just soft, smashed, then with a garlic butter sauce, baked at a high temperature until just crunchy on the outside. Everything was phenomenal!
Kari’s getting into baking mode for an upcoming Rotary event, so dessert was a test chocolate cake. Yum!
